Extradited Singh begins MA from Nabha Maximum Security Prison.

After three days of intense legal argument and motions in three courts from district, sessions and eventually the Panjab and Haryana High Court, Ramandeep Singh Goldy has been granted the right to study his MA from the Panjab University, Patiala.

Extradited from Thailand in 2014, tortured and implicated in several false cases, Goldy is awaiting trial and has been wanting to prepare for life post proving his innocence in court.

Children of Prisoners deserve an education too.

With historic convictions come a hard time being employable.
Bhai Harnek Singh was first arrested and tortured back in 1986 and falsely accused of various terrorist related crimes by the notorious Panjab Police.
Even in this dark web, Waheguru the light of truth was shining brightly and he was released not guilty.

Power politics, hunting and barbarous medieval torture
~ Bibi Manmeet Kaur Jammu

It is a fact that since our Sikh Gurus began the journey along the road to Human freedom and independence there have been untold numbers of Sikh men slain and martyred, and untold more having sacrificed themselves for the unshackling from bondage of humanity, but let it never be forgotten that among those immortals the number of ladies is not insignificant.

After the treachery of Operation Bluestar in June 1984, the assault on Sri Harmander Sahib Ji and the massacre of the tens of thousands of devotees gathered there to remember and commemorate the martyrdom of the 5th Sikh Guru, Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, came the countrywide oppression of the Sikh community. The November Genocide followed and it was made impossible to live a regular life free from harassment, torture and incarceration without trial or charge for young Sikh men and children forevermore.

One of the family's affected by the systematic oppression was that of the mild mannered, humble and always helpful Bibi Manmeet Kaur Jammu.

Today we are celebrating the birth anniversary of Dhan Dhan Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji

There is a great need of educating ourselves about what their Divine teachings are. One of the lessons to learn and accomodate into our lives is the beauty of the environment. This is very important for every living creature on the planet we all share and call home, the earth. The environment of Panjab has become since independence totally poisoned, leading to the death of a great many people due to illness and disease.
