Sukhpreet Singh cremated amidst suspicion of State murder ~ a deeply painful and heartbreaking farewell to a son from a family in deep anguish

According to the statement on Sunday from the Nabha Max Jail authorities, Bhai Sukhpreet Singh, 23 years old, on remand awaiting trial under the successor legislation of the infamously draconian TADA laws, the Prevention of Illegal Activity Act (UAPA), had died suddenly and his 'death was caused by heart attack'.
The family continue to believe Sukhpreet Singh’s death by an injection of a hitherto unknown substance and not a heart attack as claimed. They say that he had foamed at the mouth almost immediately after the injection was administered and don’t believe for one second that their son died of a heart attack.

23 year old Bhai Sukhpreet Singh dies in Nabha Max - family and friends certain of foul play

According to reports in the media, Sukhpreet Singh, son of Sardar Hardeep Singh, who was incarcerated in Nabha Maximum Security Jail after being arrested under the TADA successor law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, died of a heart attack.
His family and friends have told Sikh Relief volunteers that they have strong suspicions Sukhpreet Singh was murdered by a forced drug overdose, administered by injection and will demand a thorough post mortem be carried out.
Sikh Relief’s Parminder Singh Amloh has said that the media claim that Sukhpreet Singh was involved in robberies as per the police clerk’s false case registered against him.

We ask all to take a moment and offer a prayer

Freedom - begins at ground level

Legendary Sikh activist Bhai Pal Singh of France has long campaigned for the reversal in French law that has banned the Sikh Turban in public life and docucments, has organised hundreds of Sikh youth in a movement to take part in protests and demonstrations to raise awareness of the Sikh Turban (Dastar) at the village of Dhandowal in Panjab's Jalandhar district involving youth of over 15 villages.

Bhai Pal Singh has only regained his freedom last year, having been falsely implicated in fake cases by the Notorious Panjab Police and served 7 years in prison for crimes he did not commit.

In Trilokpuri, the killings continued through the night and into the second day. The mobsters were in no hurry; they searched for any Sikhs left hiding and targeted those Sikh houses they suspected may have been initially missed. The surviving women had no means of escape as the attackers had picketed guards at each corner. So, the Sikh women remained in the shells of their burnt out houses, dazed by the violent frenzy they had just witnessed in the past 24 hours. In many cases, these women had married into these same houses, raised their children within these walls and now all around them lay the burnt out bodies of their husbands, sons and loved ones.

SIKH GENOCIDE  (Part 2 of 5)

On the morning of November 1st 1984, mobs of armed men equipped with uniformly cut iron rods, kerosene and tyres, congregated at designated points across districts of Delhi. Some of the eye witness testimonies describe the horror that unfolded:
