Sikh Relief continues to support Bhai Gurpreet Singh Jagowal's family.

Covid-19 slows but can't stop Sikh Relief supporting for Sikh prisoners of conscience and their families.

Sikh Relief Sevadars have today delivered a tailored support and financial assistance package to the family of Gurpreet Singh Jagowal, convicted in the Ghawdi murder case.

The family of young Gurpreet Singh were grateful and thanked the global Sikh sangat for the continued support and assistance. Sikh Relief reiterated its commitment to those who have been penalised for instinctively obeying their conscience in the face of extreme provocation coupled with political and judicial ambivalence to politicised crimes designed to create a reaction.

On July 26, 2016, Balwinder Kaur, a resident of Ghawdi village in the Alamgir area, was shot dead outside the local Gurdwara Sahib. The Panjab Police had previously registered a case of hurting the religious sentiments of a community, accused of the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Yet she was bailed and not charged under the required section 295a of the IPC which is non-bailable. The notorious Panjab Police claim she was killed by Jaspreet Singh alias Nihal Singh of Patiala and Gurpreet Singh of village Jagowal Sangrur and registered a murder case under Section 302 against them both.

Regardless of the circumstances and facts of the case, Sikh Relief will continue to support all Sikh Prisoners of Conscience and their families, our benti to the Sikh sangat as always is to do Ardas for our Kaumi Jujharu's, support and donate to Sikh Relief so we may continue to support today for a better tomorrow.

Pls continue to help support us and donate at: www.justgiving.com/SikhRelief
