This photo of Swaran Singh has never been seen before. Most readers will not know of this man, nor the hardship and suffering he has endured since 1999, when he was locked behind bars at Nabha Maximum Security Jail.

In 2000, he was tried in a TADA court and sentenced to life imprisonment

Swaran Singh has no outstanding cases and has been given regaular parole relases. Sikh Relief (SOPW) are fighting his legal case and have applied for his premature release in the Punjab and Harayana High Court.
