This is Shaheed Bhai Sohanjit Singh a co accused in the case of Narain Singh Chaura and Pal Singh who are currently being held in remand. Bhai Sohanjit Singh died under mysterious circumstances in police custody on 15th March 2011. The case understood to be completely false was that of the planting of RDX in a Maruti car on 8th May 2010.
Kulwant Singh was born in the village of Varpal in Amritsar, to Surjit Kaur and Sadha Singh. He was the youngest of 7 brothers and was blessed with Amrit at the age of 7 years. The Varpal family have made huge sacrifices for the Sikh nation as two of Kulwant Singh’s elder brothers, Hardev Singh and Bachittar Singh, were killed by Police in fake encounters in the 1990’s.
Kulwant Singh was an electrician by trade but equally dedicated to preaching the message of the Guru’s and recited Simran at every opportunity. Bhai Pal Singh France, a well respected Gursikh who toured Punjab preaching about the Gurus teachings and how to live a life clean from the evils of drugs and alcohol, took on Kulwant Singh as his driver.
We were sadly informed on 26th April 2013 that Sandeep Singh alias Harry (35), died at Nabha maximum security jail under mysterious circumstances today. Jail officials disclosed that he was died due to heart attack. The post mortem of his body was conducted at Nabha civil hospital by the panel of three doctors in the presence of Judicial Magistrate Baljinder Kaur. His sudden death sent shock waves through all those near and dear to him and left our team completely devastated.
