About the event

The 9th Annual Sikh Relief (SR) 'mission Snowdon' Charity Walk is coming this August.  Bringing families and individuals together from all over the UK to participate in a fun-filled day of hiking, walking and enjoying the breath-taking views of the Snowdonia mountain range. The SR climb is an opportunity to take in the stunning views and landscape, all while raising money for a our projects through the generous donations of our Sangat.

Every year participants of all ages, fitness abilities and experience of climbing, thoroughly enjoy the exciting adventure of conquering Mount Snowdon, the second highest peak in the UK. From novice hikers to experienced mountaineers, the event is completely family-friendly, offering a safe and enjoyable environment for children to explore the great outdoors and our elders to take in the views and fresh air.

With the thrill of climbing Snowdon, participants also have the opportunity to learn about Sikh Relief’s work and how their donations are used to help those people who depend on our support programs. The event is not only a great way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors, but it also serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back to the community.

The event ends with a recuperative langar, refreshments and a professional photograph to reflect and record your accomplishment. By participating in the Snowdon Charity Walk, you can make a difference in the lives of others and create a memorable experience for yourself and your loved ones.

SR will provide transport, food, drinks etc. An opportunity for the community to enjoy a day out, there is no fee for seats and they will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, we will always endeavour to ensure no one is left behind. We do appreciate all donations made on the day towards supporting our projects and remain grateful for such a warm and generous Sangat.

Further details about transport and a handy checklist of things a novice may want to bring with them will be provided via email once your place has been booked.
