For the past few days, our team have been setting up tents and temporary shelters in the more remote regions of Nepal. The needs of each village are different depending on what damage the earthquake has had. Each morning, our team load their trucks with medicines, food supplies, water and tents, so they are always equipped with what may be required.
The feedback from our team is that outside of Kathmandu, villagers are reporting this is the first time they have received any form of aid or assistance.
We now have two teams covering the distribution of aid among those villages that have ben isolated. At the same time, other teams are maintaining the Langar that has been set up at Gurdwara Lalitpur in Kathmandu, where there is a constant queue all day long.
The local medical camps and aid distribution are also continuing in Kathmandu.
We need your help and support now more than ever to ensure aid and supplies can continue to provided to those who need it.
