WHAT
WE DO

PROJECTS.

At Sikh Relief where we are dedicated to uplifting lives and creating positive change. Our recent projects focus on three key areas: supporting Sikh political prisoners, empowering individuals to learn and earn, and providing education to underprivileged children. We work tirelessly to advocate for the rights and fair treatment of Sikh political prisoners, striving to secure their freedom and reunite them with their families. Additionally, we offer vocational training programs that equip individuals with the skills needed to achieve economic independence and support themselves. Lastly, our education project aims to bridge the educational gap for underprivileged children, providing them with access to quality learning opportunities. Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact and create a better future for those in need.

Prisoner Welfare

We are committed to supporting individuals and communities in need by providing them with opportunities to improve their livelihoods. We believe that self-employment is a powerful tool for empowering people and helping them rise above their circumstances. Our training centres provide all the necessary equipment and resources, and upon completion of courses, our beneficiaries are equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to become successful. By providing these opportunities, we hope to enable people to become self-sufficient and improve their quality of life.

"It is often said that 'It takes a village to raise a child,' and we wholeheartedly embrace this sentiment. At Sikh Relief, we extend our support to children from underprivileged families who face challenges in meeting the financial requirements of a modern education within an underdeveloped social environment. We believe in building a strong and nurturing community where every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background. Through our dedicated efforts, we strive to bridge the educational gap and provide these deserving children with the resources and support they need to succeed."

At Sikh Relief, we were the first Sikh NGO/charity to champion the cause of Sikh political prisoners. We stand in solidarity with those who have courageously followed their conscience and raised their voices against state tyranny, oppression, and genocidal policies. Through our unwavering commitment, we provide comprehensive support to these individuals, including legal representation at the Sessions Court, High Court, and even the Supreme Court level. Our aim is to ensure that their rights are protected, justice is served, and their voices are heard. Together, we strive to create a more just and equitable society for all.
